A ruler is included in one picture for scale of the actual signature. There are no other signatures on the front or reverse of this cut.

I would guesstimate the steel-tip fountain signature at about a 7 out of 10 in strength. Unofficially of course, simply my opinion after 40 years of collecting.

The signature presents very nicely. A wonderful piece to invest in - where you can actually read his signature - as opposed to extremely faded examples on balls etc. I always had a difficult time conceiving spending several thousand dollars on a signature I couldn't see - particularly of Gehrig's stature. Item comes from a smoke free and pet free home.
